NEW Classes
Pure Essentials of Islam: Beliefs & Worship
The course will be taught by qualified Imams and will cover the essential elements of Islam. Topics include:
Halal and Haram
Zakat
Fasting
Our Duties as Muslims
Two classes will be offered:
Basic- Ages 7-11 and Advanced - Ages 12 and over. Registration is required.
Classes are 6 weeks long - $50 per student. 15% Family Discount
Beginning Friday April 1, classes will meet weekly at the following days/times:
Wednesday: 7:30 - 8:30 pm Friday: 7:30 - 8:30 pm Saturdays: 4:00 - 6:00 pm Sundays: 9:00 - 10:15 am 
Sisters Only Class
Basic Fiqh (Islamic rules) for Women
Saturdays: 11:30 - 12:30 am
Beginning, April 2 classes will meet weekly.
Community Nights at Taqwa!
Taqwa would like to invite you to join us for an evening of food, folks and fun!
In addition to socializing with fellow Muslims, you will be spiritually uplifted. Sing along and / or listen to traditional Islamic songs. Inspire yourself to continue to seek sacred knowledge and practice it to the fullest as you listen to valuable talks by inspirational Imams and or Muslim educators.

Milad-un Nabi
      

Taqwa Islamic Center held the Milad-un Nabion February 20th, 2011. People were arriving after Maghrib and ended at 10:30 PM. There were decorative lights as Mohammad (pbuh) name in Arabic. There were children were reading the Quran, the Nasheed and Salawaat were sung, there was food being served, and people were greeting each other. Everyone was enjoying the company and we did the prayer. Hafiz Mohammed Abdul RahmanAejaz and Hafiz Mohammad Abdul Majeed spoke about the history of Milad-un Nabi and everyone was listening and enjoying the whole program. Finally, the dua was being said at the end .
