Syed Akber Nizamuddin Hussaini visted Taqwa Islamic Center on Monday April 4th,2011.He is a very prosperous and involved individual in Hyderabad, India. We were very glad to have him at Taqwa.Syed Akber Nizamuddin Hussaini is Orginally from Hyderabad ,India. He is currently the Ameer of Jamia Nizamia. Jamia Nizamia is one of the oldest and most prestigious Islamic Universities in India. He is also the Chairman of Darussalam Bank located in Hyderabad.

On March 16, 2011,For the second time, one of the students of Taqwa, Sahar Aryobi, completed reading the Quran within a year and a half. She focuses a lot on her work. She also tries her hardest to finish in a year. She also wants to memorize the Quran. She always says that she's never going to give up. She also hoped that she could finish at the same time as her brother, however, she passed him. Sahar is hoping to start memorizing as soon as possible.

Taqwa Nasheed Group
We are pleased to announce the formation of a nasheed group for youth. The group will focus
on memorizing and performing traditional Islamic nasheed, both in the Arabic and English
languages. Participants will learn and understand the songs they sing. They will also produce
their own songs. Registration is required. |
